The government has approved the plan for development and operation of Jette, our first development as operator. The first oil from Jette will be produced in the second quarter of 2013. This will five-fold our oil production.

Det norske is the second largest company on the Norwegian Continental Shelf counting number of operatorships and when it comes to explotaion and drilling activity. In 2011 this paid off with a triplication in resources. We participated in the gigantic discovery at Sverdrup, and Norvarg in the Barents Sea. 

The authorities have approved the Plan for Development and Operation of Jette, our first development as operator. The first oil from Jette will be produced the second quarter of 2013. This can quintuple our production. In 2012 we delivered a PDO for Ivar Aasen. Draupne. The first oil from Ivar Aasen is expected in the last quarter of 2016.  

This means that from 2013 Det norske will be a full-fledged oil company, offensive in exploration activities, with significant development projects and production.
