Well 25/8-17 discovered oil in the Jetta prospect. Sidetracking the well was decided by the license.

Well 25/2-17 in the Frigg Delta prospect found sandstones with good reservoir prospertiesin the Frigg formation. This is promising for the Frigg area.

Det norske made a significant gas and condensate discovery in license 035B on the Fulla prospect in exploration well 30/11-7 and appraisal well 30/11-7A. Det norske has an ownership interest of 15 percent in the license which is operated by StatoilHydro.

In March, Det norske made a gas and condensate discovery in the Freke prospect in PL 029B. The well found an approximately 30 meter gas/condensate column.

In explorationwell 15/12-21, drilled on the Grevling Prospect, north of the Varg Field in the North Sea, Det norske made a significant oil discovery.

In production license 027D the Eitri prospect were drilled on behalf of the operator ExxonMoblie. A minor discovery was made.

Det norske has as operator of production license 408, completed the drilling of exploration well 15/9-23 (Skardkollen) with the semi-submersible rig Bredford Dolphin. The well was dry.
