The Dagny oil and gas field will be developed using a fixed platform, as agreed upon by operator Statoil and the licensees. Det norske has a participating interest in the development.
The gas from Dagny will be tied back to the existing infrastructure on the Sleipner field, whereas the oil is to be shipped out. The Eirin gas field will be tied back to the Dagny platform by means of a subsea development. Total estimated volumes for Dagny and Eirin constitute 300 million barrels of oil and gas.
The estimated volume of oil and gas for Dagny is 230 million barrels. Det norske´s share in Dagny, given the temporary cost allocation base, is two percent.

With a two percent share in Dagny, Det norske will attain a plateau production amounting to 1,500 barrels of oil equivalents per day.
Odd Ragnar Heum, Sr. VP Asset Strategy in Det norske, says Statoil has done a great job as operator, and that there has been a good cooperative effort among all partners in the two licenses.
- We expect an investment decision to be made within one year, which entails possible production start-up in 2016.
